This tutorial walks you through using the Wayex On-Ramp service to deposit your local currency (like USD, EUR, GBP, MXN, or BRL) via bank transfer.

This is the quickest way to convert your fiat funds into stablecoins, preparing you for immediate global use.

Before you start, note that the method you use to send your fiat funds will depend on the currency you select. Follow the requirements below specific to your currency to ensure a successful and fast deposit.

Want to convert your local currency into stablecoins? Here’s how:

On the Wayex main screen, tap "Receive" to initiate a transaction

Select "Fiat Deposit" from the options provided

Choose the fiat currency you intend to deposit (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP, etc.). This will generate your unique receiving account details

Copy your Wayex account details (Account Name, Bank Name, Account Number/IBAN, Reference/Memo etc.) provided on the screen. The Reference Code is required to link the deposit into your account

Go to your personal banking app or website, paste the Wayex details as the recipient, and initiate the transfer. Double-check all details before confirming the transaction

1. On the Wayex main screen, tap "Receive" to initiate a transaction
2. Select "Fiat Deposit" from the options provided
3. Choose the fiat currency you intend to deposit (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP, etc.). This will generate your unique receiving account details
4. Copy your Wayex account details (Account Name, Bank Name, Account Number/IBAN, Reference/Memo etc.) provided on the screen. The Reference Code is required to link the deposit into your account
5. Go to your personal banking app or website, paste the Wayex details as the recipient, and initiate the transfer. Double-check all details before confirming the transaction

Mandatory Reference Code: You must include the unique Reference/Memo Code provided during the deposit setup. Failure to include this code will delay or prevent your deposit from being credited to your account

All fiat deposits are automatically converted and credited to your USD balance

Any non-USD fiat deposits (EUR, MXN, GBP or BRL) will be converted into USD at the current exchange rate and then added to your USD balance

We will provide the estimated exchange rate during the deposit process. Please note that the final exchange rate applied may differ slightly from the estimated rate, as it is determined at the moment your funds are received and processed by our banking partner
